Shimano's older flat pedals were (are) the things of legend. Well, Saint gets its own pedals with the MX80s. They're sure to take their rightful place on the top step of the podium in every way. Shimano listened to their sponsored riders from World Cup winners to pro freeriders and came up with these beauties. They're wide and thin, giving you good real estate for your feet while giving you clearance over rocks. The surface is concave for great grip and long-ride comfort. They sport an easy replacement system for the pins, and of course, they carry the Saint moniker, so they have durable, smooth-spinning rotating axles and DH-worthy durability.
I purchased these pedals for my 2013 Trek Mamba Matte Black. They look just as good as their utilization! They have excellent grip, I haven't slipped off them once; the price may be a little steep, but if you are going clipless... This pedal is for you. It's lighter than it looks, and I would definitely purchase them again.
Bottom LineYes, I would recommend this to a friend
