Nothing in the cycling world is more infuriating than flat tires. We get it, because we get them just like you. But with our Desert Protection Presta Valve Tubes, you can minimize, if not eliminate, flats at the terrible hands of debris, thorns, or whatever else is halting your rides. Starting at the basis of the construction, we designed the tube to be thicker at the outer side, the part against the tire, in order to stop pesky bits from puncturing all the way through the tube. We then make the inner side, the part against the rim, thinner in order to reduce weight. This way, you don't have to sacrifice performance in the name of protection. We didn't stop there, however, as these tubes also feature our Airlock sealant that coats the tube for permanent protection against punctures. Not only this, but the sealant is designed to work continuously in order to prevent slow leaks from occurring, so erring complete catastrophe, you won't have to worry about flatting when you're riding over debris. For XC racing, stiffness equals speed. That’s what drove our thinking when building the Roval Control SL handlebar. Borrowing inspiration from trail bike tech, we knew a 35mm bar clamp width would give us the rigidity our athletes demanded, and function as the backbone for our ultra-light, hand laid up carbon. It’s light… Like, 185 grams light. But, light-weight and stiffness aren’t the only pieces of the puzzle. Riders also need high-precision control while descending, and a comfortable, sustainable position on grueling climbs. With the help of the FreeFoil Shape Library, tools like isotopic FEA analysis, and some engineering wizardry by the best engineers in the industry, we delivered a FACT 9r frame that weighs a mere 1010 grams, without giving up a gram of aero, stiffness, or ride quality. - Continuing our quest to develop the perfect race bike, we used our Rider-First Engineered™ philosophy to ensure that the new Tarmac is the most balanced, best-handling Tarmac yet—no matter the size.
