Note: We will require a signature for delivery at our discretion. If an order is shipping address differs from the billing address, the shipping costs are excessive, or the order total is high, you can expect to have to sign for receipt. UPS will attempt three deliveries, or hold shipments at their local distribution center if you need to make other arrangements.
Additionally, we offer select items we do not maintain in our current warehouse inventory. Those items usually ship from two to five business days after your order. You will be contacted directly if longer lead times are in effect. We do our best to make sure that our catalog contains currently available merchandise.
Please note that we do not ship outside of the continental 48 United States at this time due to prior experience. We apologize in advance, but this is currently our policy.
We protect the security of your information during transmission by using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software, which encrypts all of the information you provide to us and prevents outside parties from being able to "see" your transaction information. When your account information is displayed on your screen, we only display the last five digits of your credit card numbers.
Occasionally, some items are unexpectedly out of stock or unavailable and may be backordered. We only bill your credit card for merchandise when it is actually shipped. The total shipping charge for orders split into multiple shipments will not exceed the amount quoted on original order.
*This policy covers purchases made at our online store. Please see our retail store return policy if your purchase was made at one of our retail locations.
NOTE: All online store returns must be shipped back to our warehouse. Our retail stores will not accept returns for online sales.
The Bicycle Chain stands behind our merchandise. If you do need to return an item, please return the item in the original packaging by the parcel carrier of your choice. Make sure you retain tracking information. Please include a copy of the receipt.
Unopened items in their original packaging in good condition, damaged or defective merchandise, and mis-shipped items are eligible for full refund or credit. Additionally, we will reimburse return ground shipping costs for damaged, defective, and mis-shipped items.
Please note that certain closeout and special order items carry a restocking fee if returned (please see item page for details).
Refused delivery: We treat refused packages as returns. Your refund will have the return shipping charges deducted.
Please keep a copy of all information until you have received your refund or replacement item(s).
